BEAUTIFUL TURN-KEY HORSE FARM
(WE HAVE DECIDED TO DOWNSIZE OUR OPERATION)
Our farm consists of 190 beautiful acres including wooded areas, approximately 65 acres of open hay fields, many cross fenced pastures, several corrals with automatic waterers, a large stocked irrigation pond and planted Christmas trees. It is the ideal set up for the horse or cattle operation that you have always wanted!!
We have a total of 20 stalls between two barns. One of the barns is a Morton barn with a 60x64 foot indoor arena attached. This barn has 7-8 large box stalls, wash area, tack room, cross tie/grooming area, and a hay and grain storage area. There is a 12x64 foot lean-to on the East side of the riding arena which is ideal for equipment storage and also houses a sawdust bin. The other barn is a large gambrel type barn with 12 stalls ideal for cattle or horses with loads of hay storage. We currently use this barn as our foaling barn.
There is also a large quanset building for equipment storage and workshop, a cement block building which could be used for chickens, pigs...... you name it. There is also a remodeled grainery which could serve as an office or extra storage. We are pretty centrally located between Manistee and Cadillac and about 40 minutes Southwest of Traverse City. We are in the heart of fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and only 10 minutes from Crystal Mountain for skiing and golf. There are numerous trails on the farm for horseback riding and you can ride for miles off the farm and never cross a road. We are close to the Manistee River and only 15 minutes from beautiful Lake Michigan.
We could consider dividing the farm if you are looking for a smaller parcel of land.
